Special instructions for iphoto users: 1. Select the photo you would like to export in iphoto. 2. In the top left hand corner, select File drop-down/Export. 3. An "Export File" window will pop open (not sure if you're on a desktop or laptop - version of this popup slightly varies). From the "Format" dropdown, select "JPG". 4. Scale the image size to a smaller format. 5. Click the "Export" button in bottom of window. New pop up will ask you to name the file and where to export the photo. Export the photo to the desktop or a file on your computer. 6. The JPEG will then be saved on your desktop or whichever file you chose and you can upload the photo to the website from the desk top or from wherever you saved the photo.

Good Morning Everyone,
I visited with Dr. Essig on tuesday the 29th, 2009, I am in what is considered stable. The tumor has not increased or decreased in size since my PET CT in September. I will resume chemotherapy on January 5th, 2010 for at least 9 cycles ( 3 months ) and then have another PET CT. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
God Bless All of You!

Pet Results
09/22/09 2:06 PM

Hello Everyone,
I hope all of you and yours are doing well and have enjoyed the summer as fall is upon us...YIPEEE!!!! I love fall. I had chemotherapy cycle #4 today and talked with Dr. Essig about the results of my PET CT that was ran on September 15. The tumor shows significant shrinkage, the suv rate (metabolic rate) is down from 15.8 in May to 7.6 in September and for the first time the lower lobe site of the tumor contains air bronchograms ( has air moving through it. Dr. Essig said this is wonderful news and we are maintaining treatment on the same schedule for at least 3-4 more cycles. I will be scheduled for another PET Scan after December 15. Well, gotta run for now. God Bless all of you and thank you for all your support and prayers!!!

Update
06/28/09 10:09 AM

Hey Everyone I know that it has been a while since the previous entry, but better late than never. They were not able to do the biopsy due to problems with my blood pressure and heart rate. Dr. Essig ended up putting me in the hospital in order to run further tests and to determine the cause of the low blood pressure and high heart rate. I ended up having to have a drain put in my left lung because I am having fluid build up on my lung which I will need to drain about once a week. My cancer has returned and I am currently in chemotherapy treatments. Please keep us in your prayers.
God Bless,
Dena

06/03/09 5:54 AM

I had my 3 month pet ct on May 27, 2009 and meet with Dr. Essig this past Monday for the results. I will be having a biopsy on Tuesday the 9th. The SUV rate went up from 3.8 in February to 15.9 in May. Please keep us in your prayers and as soon as we find out any additional information we will let you know.
God Bless
Dena

Still in Remission!
02/25/09 6:11 AM

Hey Everyone!
We visited with my oncologist yesterday to get the results from my pet scan that was performed last friday and my cancer is still in remission. According to Dr. Essig, I will continue to see him every 6 weeks for blood work and port flushing. Then every 3 months I will have another pet scan to check on the status of the cancer.
I appreciate all your continued prayers, love and friendship. God Bless all you!
Love, Dena
